dog's shitting pool

Last picture of today, a dog's shitting pool :p You can't see it actually, and there weren't any! Can you see me in the picture! *evil laughter*

One Peking Road

One Peking Road, what is so special about this building is that, it absorbs solar energy (sunlight) for operating an automated window blind system!

dangling toy

Do you like looking around when you are walking? I like doing that. Besides this, I don't like looking at people when they are talking... Please bear with me when sometimes I appear to be absentminded or look like I am not listening to what you say, but I do! I am listening!

So this picture. A doll dangling outside the wall, under the air-conditioner. It's pretty dangerous... poor toy. How many kids in developing countries don't even have a toy? The owner should donate that to Salvation Amy.

a fake beggar

This! Is! Unforgivable! I am not discriminating beggars, but this one is unforgivable, he is faking it! He's not disable, he has 2 hands, but he was pretending to be disable, shame on him! He's young but he's not working, what on earth is he thinking? I look down on this kid.

To those who live in Hongkong, please don't give $ to this kid! He's fake!

the braille code

A jumble of dotts? Yeah, it's Braille codes, created by Helen Keller. I didn't notice any of these before, I noted this one in a subway in TST. I did a google search on Braille, though I don't think it's in English, I wonder if this is 'Chinese Braille'? Should know more on this subject.

The rich and the poor...

Just few steps away, I saw this woman.

Strong contrast, the rich and the poor. *sign* Such is life...

the purple stage

Take a closer look at this! Toooooo exaggerating!! It looks like a opera stage (with not enough space), but the lightings looks superb :D

decorated Harbour City - the mall

This picture is weird. Taken in front of the Harbour City in TST, see? It's all decorated! (Too dramatic and too purple). There was a newly wed couple taking wedding pictures.

Some people say you look best on your wedding day, to be honest, I really doubt this. This couple doesn't look superb. The bride put on too much make-up that the colours of her 'decorated' face and her without-make-up-neck are different! The groom is too fat (:p) I've decided I will not do anything remotely like this... at least, I won't take wedding pictures in front of Harbour City in TST!

on ferry

I was on Star Ferry. I like Star Ferry. I like taking a boat than going on MTR. On MTR, you can only stare at people or you pretend you are asleep, however, on a ferry, you can walk around (spacious), enjoy the 'harbour' breeze and stare at the waves. I like staring at the sea, when there is a big wave, I will shout 'wow', haha, I am a bit silly I know. Last time when I was on ferry (lower deck) wow and ah about the big waves, 2 girls in upper deck talked to me! haha! They were very cute! I love kids (if they are not mine)!

Santa's Town - such a name!

I spent the whole afternoon wandering around, first I went to Santa's Town in Central - Christmas is approaching you know, being the international city, of course there are always something to attract innocent tourists - it is all decorated, quite nice though.

Last year, the Christmas tree broke a world record (can't remember what record though, if you are interested, search guiness world records :p). There were a lot of people already, waiting for the opening of the Santa's Town (many of them are tourists), I felt like one of them myself, with a camera in my hands :) I can't say I like Christmas that much, it's not our tradition, though one thing that I really appreciate, we have holidays when Christmas comes... it's all too commercial!

rocks

This place is memorable, yeah, why not?

Tsang Tai Uk - old-fashioned

In this picture, Tsang Tai Uk looked archaic, a bit sad in my opinion.

Tsang! Tai! Uk!

This is the other side of Tsang Tai Uk. It's really old fashion, very traditional, guess what, there are still many people live in there nowadays!

I like this picture though, you can see new buildings and old houses, strong contradiction, light and shadow, and blue, my favourite blue is in as well... hehe...

Robber :)

The first day of the week, we went cycling for a good beginning. It was a sun-ly sun-ny Sunday, though weather was a bit chilly in the evening, but over all, it was a good day. We watched Oliver Twist before going to Taiwai (Oliver Twist was rather good, better than I expected, I didn't cry by the way), while we were waiting for the bus, Po pulled her jacket from her Tasche, covered her face using the hat of that jacket, trying to look horrible (haha, she's definitely crazy!); Yan saw her and said she looked like a robber, then she tried to rob me :) There was an old man watching as we were playing, having fun (as always, world of our own, huh?), he said "ah, got no face to meet others" obviously referring to Po, haha, we wouldn't help laughing! You can judge if she looked horrible.. haha!

Middle Road Playground v. Lolita

On our way to the Middle Road playground. We'd never been there though. It was quite a amuzing day, Po and I wanted to play with the swing, we waited and waited, finally one kid left, I rushed to the swing, but suddenly the security guard came to us and said we weren't allowed to play! (Dammit!) Few minutes later, there was a 'photographer' (a freak one I'd say) taking pictures of 2 girls in Lolita clothinges (it was quite disgusting watching those girls posing, mimicing cartoons - sorry, but I am personally against Lolita trend), and they were using the playgound's facilities! Po was encouraged to make a complaint to the security, she came back to me even more angrier, she said 'he said he doesn't understand English' when we laughed for a while.

We made a funny video cursing and stating the whole thing, haha, silly us :D

Playground mit foot :D

Actually this picture is quite silly :p

Tsim Sha Tsui East - Mariners' Club

The colour of the building that made us stopped. The blue building! The Mariners' Club! Marine, blue! Quite appropriate :)

Space Museum - photo gallery

Po and I went to the Space Museum to check out what programs were on. However, there was a photo gallery of the Space took all our attention. I liked the frame of the picture on display, the picture itself was marvelous! I wonder how many nights did those photographers waited just to catch the breath-taking moments... I want to have one of those really giant telescope one day!!

You can see Po and I :) For those who haven't see me for a while, I had a haircut!

Neon lights

Hm...... I feel like a visitor. Going here and there, taking pictures. I have nothing better to say.

Espirit - colourful shoes

Were in Espirit. I was so damn exhausted that I had to sit down (there was a couch, luckily). Po and Yan kept walking though. If you look closely to the picture, you'd realise that those shoes were identical (some of them), but with different colours. If the world was black and white, what was the use coloured shoes? When there were so many choices, you would just get lost...

Star Ferry in TST

This is the Star Ferry. You can take ferry from TST to either Central or Wan Chai here.

sinking sun with a ship

I think it's a little bit too dark. This was taken when we were walking down from Harbour City, the ship was... WASA? I don't think I remember :) The sun was sinking but it was still too bright, it nearly blinded me!

My friends

Po and Yan were really tired when I came back from taking pictures.

Mummy-Long-Leg

Joey Leung in the picture! I became Mummy-long-leg! Haha! I quite like daddy-long-leg I have to confess. Watched the cartoon many years ago (Japanese cartoon), then I bought the book when my English was good enough to read/understand. Most importantly, I learnt the word monogamy, which I determine will be very a very useful word.

Personal Goal

Right, don't tell me you think this picture is a boring one. I think the sky was so blue, the lamp was so lonely... It makes me feel, even though the world is so big, everything has some meaning existing, searching for his/her personal goal... read Alchemist :p

Huh.. I don't know

I don't know what to say about this picture.... Irons meet sky? Hah!

Harbour City - Mirage

This picture was taken in Harbour City carpark. It's a very nice place to see sunrise and sunset (though I have never gone there to see sunrise :p). We saw the view when we were shopping in Harbour City - then we immediately stopped walking around like some silly idiots and went to the carpark. (Shopping isn't one of my favourite, it never will becomes one surely) Since it was a bit foggy at that time, hills farther away looked unreal, just like mirage, you can't reach out for it..

a Maori :)

After their performance, a lady said we (audience) could come to the stage to talk to them and/or take pictures with them. I wanted to take picture with them, but I was slightly scared since there weren't any going up. Then, some students (all foreigners, bet they were from NZ) went on stage and talked to them, I plucked up my courage and took a picture with a Maori :) A rather handsome young man helped me to take the picture by the way :p

Maori in Hong Kong

Ah! This was interesting! I went into the Cultural Centre building, there they were, some Maori (from New Zealand) performing! I liked the way they looked, they dressed and they presented themselves. Good to get to know a little bit more about Maori :D (Pity Po and Yan weren't there to see their performance)

How old is she?

I went around to the Space Museum since I thought Po and Yan wanted to watch some documentary movies. I saw this big tree, couldn't help stopping to take a picture. I wonder, how old is she? What did she witness? Being a tree isn't so bad, is it?

Just another picture

I don't know how is this called. During new year, Christmas, Sunday or even at night, there always crowded with people: gathering, watching fireworks, celebrating, taking pictures etc etc. There weren't many people though today, may be owing to the construction of the pier?

Wedding date (not mine)!

I was walking around killing time when I was waiting for my friend. Today is a good day for wedding I think, on my way, I saw at least 3 couples taking wedding pictures (just like in the picture). It was quite funny though, the Bride and the Groom were taking pictures on the left while their friends were talking, joking on the right... strange too if you ask me.

Fake Hawaii

Hong Kong Cultural Centre in Tsim Sha Tsui. It was the 'Big Ben' at the right top corner :D Does it feel like Hawaii with coconut trees in? (I'd wish!)

Star Ferry - lower deck

Star Ferry in Central, it costs only $1.7 for lower deck (did you know?), $2.1 for upper deck! I don't understand why though, I personally like lower deck (not because it's cheaper), it is - I think - because it's more closer to water... It's cheaper than taking the MTR if you are heading to TST from Central :D Po, Yan and I always gather in TST after work, since it's more convenient for us to meet there than anywhere else :) There were usually hell of people around 6 pm. Hong Kong is tooooo crowdy!

Two International Financial Centre

The Two International Financial Centre, the tallest building in Hong Kong (so far) situated in Central (it is the 5th tallest building on earth). It looks definitely (and obviously) ugly... hehe... Weather was quite fine, foggy in the afternoon, hah, I am like a weatherman!

Bank of America in the sky

I had a great but tiring day today. Boss left the office 15 mins earlier, which enabled me to take this picture. It was the Bank of America, the 11th tallest building on earth; taken in the conference room which I spend most of my lunch hours in, pondering the meaning of life (!), figuring out my future and, undeniable, I spend most of my time daydreaming.. Anyway, it was the reflection of the building which made it looked like floating..
