See? The dog that we made friend with :) the view is quite good, don't you think?

Taiwan - traditional clothes :D

I quite like the background :) We made friend with a dog here.. hehe..

Yan's birthday - wishing papers

This is what we bought to write our wishes on :) You can write as many as you want, but I just wrote 3 on :)

Yan's birthday - the wishing tree!

The Wishing Tree! It was our first time riding to it! (My first been there as well). There weren't many people owing to the stupid hot weather I believe! Paid HKD$3 to buy some papers with spells on it, and wrote down our wishes on them and "fling" them on the tree. It was fun at the beginning.. you get pissed off when you can't toss it on the tree........

Yan's birthday - rural area~

Half miles to Lam Village, to see the wishing tree.. very countryside!

Yan's birthday - the KCR railway

On our way to Lam Village... I never knew this place before.. it's quiet and have a sense of serenity.. :)

Yan's birthday - Yan's shredding palm!

Yan's ugly palm was shredding without any reason! Click in the picture and have a clear look :p hahaha! It was horrible, warn you!

Yan's birthday - cheap prices :p

McDonald's! When, the initiative of taking this picture was kind of stupid.. haha.. we basically want to show foreigners how cheap our McD's actually is! We've all heard that oversea McD's are money-leeches!

Yan's birthday - the waterfront park

Our Waterfront Park, I think it's as nice as Sun Moon Lake in Taiwan.. What do you think?

Yan's birthday - we have.....

Hong Kong has European style buildings, look at this! Though I am not sure if there are anyone lives up there.. hehe..

Yan's birthday - cycling 2

Nothing more to say.. with the hat on, I felt really hot!

Yan's birthday - cycling 3

Hehe.. I am good at bike! I can cycle with either of my hands off.. As I can remember, I can cycle when I was very young.. like 5 or 6 when dad took off the assist wheels, I like cycling.. a lot faster than walking :p

Yan's birthday - cycling 1

It was Yan's birthday so we went cycling with her :) I saw Hong Kong with a view of a foreigner, undeniable, Hong Kong is really beautiful.. even our rural areas are beautiful!

Backpack to Taiwan - Day 9, peacock!

Peacock! This was the first time I saw a REAL peacock! I even got to see its "tail" opened.. Hehe.. due to the low battery of the Digital Camera we couldn't take any pic in Sun Moon Lake, which was really really beautiful.. Well. It really was a pity!

Backpack to Taiwan - Day whatever, biting

Another bad habbit of mine, biting others... Well, it's getting better now, I used to bite others shoulder, and now, I warn them before I do that :)

Backpack to Taiwan - Day whatever, inside hotel room

Just having in our hotel room, nothing more.. :)

Backpack to Taiwan - Day 7, MRT inside

Taiwan's MRT, very different from Hong Kong one right? I'd say Hong Kong one is more modern... :p

Backpack to Taiwan - Day 7, MRT signs

Isn't it strange? This is the golden area for people who get no seat! This is the culture thing I guess.. Taiwanese are really strict, for twice we were chewing gums in MRT, passersby told us "how dare you chew gum here, you will be fined". Even though it's not allowed to eat in Hong Kong, but we are NOT that strict anyway.. horrible I'd say, and no Taiwanese LEAN on doors!

Friday, August 6

Backpack to Taiwan - Day 6, the "sheep mountains"

The last picture of the day... It was above 1300 feet! (I can't really remember the hight) It was cold like the air-conditioner was turned on :) It looks like a picture from fairy tales.... In Hong Kong, you never can see this kind of mountain! We went to see herds of sheep on the mountain top. They were caged, poor babies, however, you can feed them. I want to say.. there were a lot of shit on the grass :p haha!

Backpack to Taiwan - Day 6, Sweet Potatos!

The SWEET POTATO! It looks like shit :p hahahaha! But it was tasty! Sweet :D This was our lunch as I remember.. we were poor ladies!

Backpack to Taiwan - Day 6, bridge and us :)

The bridge and the souvenir shop over there :) The pose was ugly of course, that is us :D hahaha!

Backpack to Taiwan - Day 6, the Swiss House :p

This "house" is really European style, very Swiss.. though I never been to Switzerland :p hehehe... It was a happy picture :) Next to this house, Ho Yu Sze took us to see some rabbits, very very nice little ones :D He's very nice little boy. I love it when he asked us questions :p His questions were stupid! haha!

Backpack to Taiwan - Day 6, the little Tower

I look feminine in the pic :) Probably because of the dress - the cloth :p I was really glad back then, because when I think about Ho Yu Sze, the boy, who really liked us, I smile :)

Backpack to Taiwan - Day 6, Swiss Garden :)

Beautiful garden inside the Ching Jing Farm :D It got a rather nicer name, Swiss Garden! We stayed in there for hours before we left for the sheep :)

Backpack to Taiwan - Day 6, nice building

A scene on our way to ChingJing Farm, their resorts look very European! Bet they are expensive if staying overnight!

Backpack to Taiwan - Day 6, on the trunk :p

Haha! We were at the back of a trunk! The driver was a Tayal! I love Tayal, their traditional clothes are very nice :p This was the first time the 3 of us taking a car like this.. really funny :) Laughable :p

Backpack to Taiwan - Day 6, Uncle Poon :D

I guess we walked 2 miles, and we saw a tea stall :) The man in the pic is Uncle Poon. He was an architect. He had been through a lot as we talked with him. We all learnt a free lesson there! He gave us free tea and free peaches, and caught a car for us to go to ChingJing Farm for free! How can I forget such a nice people? So, we asked for his address, he gave it to us and also his mobile and home number! I am going to write a letter to him to thank him!

Backpack to Taiwan - Day 6, the valley :D

Another thousand of miles :p Another pic of view :D And those were our tea :) Ah, one thing I have to praise about Taiwan, their drinks are really cheap, a lot cheaper than in Hong Kong!

Backpack to Taiwan - Day 6, on the road

We walked thousand miles.. and sudden saw such unbelievable scene :) Taiwan has really nice mountains and rivers!

Backpack to Taiwan - Day 5, bamboo rice :)

Rice in Bamboo! Another famous food in Taiwan :) It's delicious but not as good as my mum's rice! Those juice wasn't nice at all!

Backpack to Taiwan - Day 5, Ma Shhh :p

We ate this.. hm, snacks? Famous and delicious. I bought a box of this back to Hong Kong for my family as souvenir :)

Backpack to Taiwan - Day 5, the cart!

You have to take this car in order to get to the cable car, it was damn exciting!

Backpack to Taiwan - Day 5, the resort

The resort.. hehe.. I had told the foreigners as "theme park" as I thought :p hahaha... it's strange, why was a resort up on the hill?

Backpack to Taiwan - Day 5, Real parrot!

Look at the parrot! First time saw such a big one! And it wasn't locked in the cage! It was standing on the trash bucket and looking for food! When Po offered it some grass, it ate them! I told the 2 foreigners about this parrot, and they came to see too :)

Backpack to Taiwan - Day 5, the bridge

In the resort.. haha.. our ugly :p The timer is quite useful as you can see :D

Backpack to Taiwan - Day 4, in front of NPM :)

In front of the National Palace Museum, the picture was taken by a mainlander who understood Cantonese :) There were so many foreigners that day, very nice, the first time I saw so many foreigners in Taiwan! Oh, look at what we were holding! It was Pocari, the size is better than those in Hong Kong, and it's even cheaper! Hehehe..

Backpack to Taiwan - Day 4, National Palace Museum

National Palace Museum :D It was really grand :) We didn't stay there long enough to see all the "wonders" though... I remember when we rushed to see those chops of ancient kings of China, haha.. and that we were slipping around on the slippery floor! Totally fun!

Backpack to Taiwan - Day 4, food

Well.. hehe.. it doesn't look very tasty.. but this is famous in Taiwan... Do Taiwanese really love this? I didn't order these, just Po and Yan :p It tastes okay....

Backpack to Taiwan - Day 4, the hotspring thing

Take a seat :) It was our first time entered the hotspring... it was like.. crazy! You have to be naked! No towels are allowed! We were smart, we got few towels in the hotspring.. hehe... there wasn't so many women in the female hotspring, luckily.. and we talked and talked.. very good experience :)

Backpack to Taiwan - Day 4 @ Hotspring

Outside the hotspring :D Hehehe... We stayed in there for like 3 hours :p Worth the money of course!

Backpack to Taiwan - Day 4, the HOTSPRING

The hotspring which we chose :) It looks clean, warm and beautiful :D
