My friends

Po and Yan were really tired when I came back from taking pictures.

Mummy-Long-Leg

Joey Leung in the picture! I became Mummy-long-leg! Haha! I quite like daddy-long-leg I have to confess. Watched the cartoon many years ago (Japanese cartoon), then I bought the book when my English was good enough to read/understand. Most importantly, I learnt the word monogamy, which I determine will be very a very useful word.

Personal Goal

Right, don't tell me you think this picture is a boring one. I think the sky was so blue, the lamp was so lonely... It makes me feel, even though the world is so big, everything has some meaning existing, searching for his/her personal goal... read Alchemist :p

Huh.. I don't know

I don't know what to say about this picture.... Irons meet sky? Hah!

Harbour City - Mirage

This picture was taken in Harbour City carpark. It's a very nice place to see sunrise and sunset (though I have never gone there to see sunrise :p). We saw the view when we were shopping in Harbour City - then we immediately stopped walking around like some silly idiots and went to the carpark. (Shopping isn't one of my favourite, it never will becomes one surely) Since it was a bit foggy at that time, hills farther away looked unreal, just like mirage, you can't reach out for it..

a Maori :)

After their performance, a lady said we (audience) could come to the stage to talk to them and/or take pictures with them. I wanted to take picture with them, but I was slightly scared since there weren't any going up. Then, some students (all foreigners, bet they were from NZ) went on stage and talked to them, I plucked up my courage and took a picture with a Maori :) A rather handsome young man helped me to take the picture by the way :p

Maori in Hong Kong

Ah! This was interesting! I went into the Cultural Centre building, there they were, some Maori (from New Zealand) performing! I liked the way they looked, they dressed and they presented themselves. Good to get to know a little bit more about Maori :D (Pity Po and Yan weren't there to see their performance)

How old is she?

I went around to the Space Museum since I thought Po and Yan wanted to watch some documentary movies. I saw this big tree, couldn't help stopping to take a picture. I wonder, how old is she? What did she witness? Being a tree isn't so bad, is it?

Just another picture

I don't know how is this called. During new year, Christmas, Sunday or even at night, there always crowded with people: gathering, watching fireworks, celebrating, taking pictures etc etc. There weren't many people though today, may be owing to the construction of the pier?

Wedding date (not mine)!

I was walking around killing time when I was waiting for my friend. Today is a good day for wedding I think, on my way, I saw at least 3 couples taking wedding pictures (just like in the picture). It was quite funny though, the Bride and the Groom were taking pictures on the left while their friends were talking, joking on the right... strange too if you ask me.

Fake Hawaii

Hong Kong Cultural Centre in Tsim Sha Tsui. It was the 'Big Ben' at the right top corner :D Does it feel like Hawaii with coconut trees in? (I'd wish!)

Star Ferry - lower deck

Star Ferry in Central, it costs only $1.7 for lower deck (did you know?), $2.1 for upper deck! I don't understand why though, I personally like lower deck (not because it's cheaper), it is - I think - because it's more closer to water... It's cheaper than taking the MTR if you are heading to TST from Central :D Po, Yan and I always gather in TST after work, since it's more convenient for us to meet there than anywhere else :) There were usually hell of people around 6 pm. Hong Kong is tooooo crowdy!

Two International Financial Centre

The Two International Financial Centre, the tallest building in Hong Kong (so far) situated in Central (it is the 5th tallest building on earth). It looks definitely (and obviously) ugly... hehe... Weather was quite fine, foggy in the afternoon, hah, I am like a weatherman!

Bank of America in the sky

I had a great but tiring day today. Boss left the office 15 mins earlier, which enabled me to take this picture. It was the Bank of America, the 11th tallest building on earth; taken in the conference room which I spend most of my lunch hours in, pondering the meaning of life (!), figuring out my future and, undeniable, I spend most of my time daydreaming.. Anyway, it was the reflection of the building which made it looked like floating..

Handsome baby :p

She's serene when she's sleepy... her eyes are blue actually; she has a mole(?) on her cute little pinky nose; she has really yellow teeth! Bro bought her a teeth brush (for cats), but we never really use it.... I believe it's nowhere to be seen now.....

My little proud cat!

It's my little cat! I don't really take pictures of my cat though, because she's so beautiful and I don't want all people being so nosy about her :p hahaha, I know I am being selfish, but nevermind :D My parents love her a lot, treating her as a REAL member of my family, she's just like my sister, except that she can't talk back :p (she 'miao' a lot though especially when she's hungry)

Red Dragon Fruit

Dragon fruit. I disliked dragon fruit for a long time, for my first time (eating dragon fruit) was this type of RED one, it tasted nothing, not sweet, but I could feel those little black seeds in my mouth! Ack! Then, one day few months ago, father bought some dragon fruit home, not RED, but white this time, I had no fruit eaten that day, so, I had to eat them. They tasted very good, since then I started liking dragon fruit :D (For those who don't know, after you eat red Dragon Fruit, your whole mouth would be all red as the fruit :p It's quite fun actually, looks a bit scary! haha)

Kiu Tsui - sweet couple!

Ioana and George :D (Ioana was my ex-colleage and a good friend of mine) They are married for 2 years I believe? Very sweet couple :)

Kiu Tsui - GIM!

George, Ioana and Molly. Po and Yan wouldn't recognise Molly because she had her ugly swim cap (bright light blue) at first when they just arrived :p haha.. 3 of us were tired and resting on the beach while they went to swim :)

Kiu Tsui - the other island

The other island which only has nameless trees and rocks! It's rather small, but then Kiu Tsui isn't a big island either :p

Kiu Tsui - disppearing..

(von Links biz Recht) Po, Yan, the disappearing track and Molly :D We were going back to the beach where Ioana and George awaited us :)

Kiu Tsui - Scheon feet

Feet of mine, Po's, Yan's and Molly's :D Just to prove how clear water was there :p

Kiu Tsui - girl in swimsuit :D

yeah me, not ready, I was asking them to come over to take pictures since the water was so clear, waves were so big that day! This is the other island, it's really just an island, nothing interesting there! Only rocks, trees which we don't know their names and rocks! There were people fishing though.

Kiu Tsui - human being!

I took this picture. Be imaginative peeps! It reminds me of the stone man which we 3 made when we went there last time.

Kiu Tsui - moon or sun?

I am not sure if it's the moon or the sun. It was high in the sky that day, Molly said firmly "it's the moon" to us (I doubted it 100% :p) This was taken by Yan :) (Reminds of me Lunar Eclipse)

Kiu Tsui - 'Yan-made' accessories

I forgot.. except playing with sand... we played with dead grass root too... haha! Yan personally made some 'accessories' for me, how do you think? haha!

Kiu Tsui - toy, sand :p

While Ioana, George and Molly were swimming, we took a break and resting on the beach. There wasn't anything to play with except sand..... so... hehe... it's quite understandable I think! (don't say no!)

Kiu Tsui - Molly & Po

Molly (white towel :p) and Po (swim suit mit ugly secondary PE shorts! haha) were on the road to the other island. Ioana and George were waiting us on the beach (George couldn't come because of his shoes, then Ioana decided to stay with George, how good!). You can see those rocks on this 'road'.... it really kills you.. trust me! When there's a tide, you won't be able to cross this 'road' anymore! It was kinda exciting :D

Kiu Tsui - crazy yan!

Yan was calling me I believe? Po wanted to take a picture of Yan, then Yan said no, because the wind was so strong, but haha, here it is, Po did take the very 'catching' moment :D haha, if you look closer, you'd see Yan's hair was a mess :p (Love ya Po)

Kiu Tsui - Real Half Moon Bay

According to Po, this is Half Moon Bay. I think I've never been there. haha! Well, I went to 'Kiu Tsui' twice, but I haven't been to Half Moon! (Shame) Ioana, George, Molly and I went there first that day. We went to Kiu Tsui, I told Po and Yan we were in Half Moon, then they took a boat to HM and couldn't find us :p haha, I didn't mean it I swear! They said HM is very very nice! I will go there another time I think....

Tai O - ready.. not

It was supposed to be a good picture. Apparently you can see they were not ready yet.. I like the background.. very, special :p

Tai O - haunting house

It looks creepy to you I hope :) I was trying to give such an impression to people. Glad if you are scared :p (Black and white pictures look really good!)

Tai O - plain one

Nothing special about this picture :) It's just us and.. a lot of rocks.

Tai O - colourful..

Nah, I like the sky. It makes me happy!

Tai O - Leng Lui :p

I personally quite like this picture. They looked good in it :)

Tai O - mini door

Standard door is supposed to be 2 meter tall. Po's 2 meter tall.. not :) The door was very laughable, even Po's taller than it! I wonder if those who live there are as short.. haha

Tai O - can I call it a store?

We bought some snacks from this store. (Octopus?) Taste too salty... and it costs me too much energy chewing them... haha! You can try if you'd like when you are there! (please note those 'stores' only open during weekend and public holiday)

Tai O - sea

When we were on the boat seeing dolphins. Po took this nice picture. We don't see the sea often *wink*

Tai O - boat and seafood

You can buy seafood from those people on boats and then take them to one of restaurants for special recipies :D We brought some crabs especially for Po :)

Tai O - houses on sea

This is Tai O. Hakka people lived there as I remember... (someone told me of couse). It was quite silly because we saw some people who were fishing on their balcony! How convenient!

Tai O - mix and match

Haha, those were very old. We people used to wear those clothes. What is so funny is that, they were wore by foreigners, looks.. weird :p

Tai O - Po's birthday!

The weather was very fine that day, it was Po's 20th birthday :) She even got dolphins to celebrate with her this year :D

Monday, September 19

Hoi Ha Wan - the cool pic :p

Last but not the least, it looks 'cool' (I really meant cool), but actually we were soooo damn hot (in both ways :p)! haha!

Hoi Ha Wan - lovely stone bridge

This 'stone bridge' is kind of cute... and it was quite difficult to take this picture, not a single stone for me to put the camera on, so, I dangled the cinema on a tree, and fixed the right angle, set timer then ran!

Hoi Ha Wan - backs, sentimental too

Finally you got to see some girls :) Po said taking a picture (of our backs) makes it a sentimental picture, what do you think? (we were at another beach there, the wind brought some horrible smell of the sea from time to time, we didn't know why)

Hoi Ha Wan - nice picture (view)

Another nice picture. We didn't use any add-on for cinemas, this picture is natural, I wish you guys could go there and see all this! (and this is Hong Kong! don't always complain about HK's air and busy life style!)

Hoi Ha Wan - the perfect view

Does this look extraordinary to you? Great weather, great people (us of course), great place ("tin shi day lay" in Cantonese). It cancels all out the pain of climbing / walking / hiking.... :D

Edit: I typed it in Chinese at first, but blogger doesn't support Chinese it seems... ah, they support I remember, but why can't I? Strange. But my Cantonese-English is good enough to give you the answer anyway :p

Hoi Ha Wan - surfing and rock

Nothing quite special about this picture, you can see people surfing (there were a lot people surfing at Saigon!) Imaginative Po and Yan said this rock looks like a dragon, I have no idea..

Hoi Ha Wan - The wand of devil/Phoenix

The cloud, looks like the 'wand' the devil has, don't you think? (Po and Yan think so, I think it looks more like a phoenix)

Hoi Ha Wan - steep!!

Po took this picture while I was too exhausted to climb (or walk) higher. It was Yan up there, just to show your people how steep it actually was... hehehe.. I hope you like challenges!
